What we are

BeautyBookie is a marketplace and matchmaking platform for near-term beauty appointments. We connect customers with independent providers. We are not the beauty service provider and do not perform nails, brows, lashes, waxing, or blowout services.

Points

You earn points on completed bookings. BeautyBookie sets the earn rate, the dollar value of each point, and the number of days before points expire. Checkout shows the value of your points. Your Account page shows your balance and the next day points expire.

A full refund takes back the unspent points that booking earned. Points you redeemed come back when the money goes back too.

Text messages

Booking and payment texts go to the phone number on your account while it is on file. Reply STOP to any text to turn off all texts. Reply START to turn booking and payment texts back on. For help, email hello@thebeautybookie.com. Message and data rates may apply.

Deals texts and rebooking texts are separate from booking and payment texts. We send them only if you opt in with the box on your Account page. Reply STOP to opt out, or clear the box on your Account page. START never turns deals texts on.

How we make money

• Commission on completed bookings
• Cancellation fee charged to your card on file for a no-show (per disclosed policy). A late cancellation fee goes to the provider, with no BeautyBookie commission
• Featured placement subscriptions sold to providers
• Commission on affiliate add-on products shown at booking confirmation

Affiliate product add-ons

After you book, you may see optional add-on products on your booking confirmation, curated by BeautyBookie and offered by third-party sellers. These are not sold by BeautyBookie or by your provider — clicking through takes you to the third-party seller's own site, where a separate purchase, contract, and return/refund policy applies.

As disclosed on the booking confirmation page, BeautyBookie participates in affiliate marketing: we may earn a commission when you purchase a product through one of these links. This affiliate relationship does not affect the price you pay to the third-party seller.

BeautyBookie curates which products appear but does not manufacture, inspect, warrant, or guarantee the products offered by third-party sellers, and is not responsible for their quality, safety, shipping, availability, or any transaction you complete on their site. Your purchase of an add-on product is solely between you and the third-party seller.

Limitation of liability

The provider you book is solely responsible for delivering the service. BeautyBookie is not liable for service quality, injury, allergic reaction, or provider conduct beyond the limited remedies described in these Terms. Claims about the service lie between you and the provider.

Complaints

If you have a concern about your appointment, submit a complaint through your booking before the post-appointment dispute window closes (currently 24 hours after your appointment ends; BeautyBookie may change this period in platform settings). After that window, in-app complaint filing is closed — contact us for help. BeautyBookie reviews each complaint and may record an outcome against the provider's account. Submitting a complaint does not cancel the charge for your appointment. If you submit a complaint before the automatic post-appointment charge, we hold that charge until we finish reviewing the complaint; once it is resolved the charge proceeds unless the resolution cancels the booking. If the charge has already been taken, the complaint is handled as a refund request.

Payments & cancellation

BeautyBookie does not charge your card when you book. We save your card via Stripe Connect at booking time and charge nothing then. The full service price is charged to your card on file after your appointment ends: when you confirm the service, or when the post-appointment dispute window closes with no open complaint and no confirmation — whichever comes first. Free cancellation is available until the configured free-cancel window before start; later cancellation or no-show charges a separate cancellation fee to your card on file.
